The group has finally finished investigating all three cultist hideouts! In the Tower of Estrad they found a list of cultist names and a magical brass bull’s head with a shapeshifting miscreant to boot! After returning to Defender’s Heart to inform Irabeth of their findings, the party is abruptly awakened in the night by a surprising and friendly face, Suul the Younger. Will our intrepid heroes be able to achieve the First Decendant’s request while maintaining their own morality, or will evil win out this night without a rest under their belts?

Finally making their way to the Tower of Estrad, the party uses the cultist password to get inside. Mal starts digging for information, but comes up SHORT handed when the inhabitants have a few questions of their own. Will the old adage prove true that “Curiosity killed the Cat”?

After discussing Ionus’ past and the shocking revelations in Opoli’s vision, our heroes head back for some lively discussion of secret Paladin orders and a well deserved night’s rest. Afterwards Armiss steps out to visit a temple of Sarenrae, but is secretly followed by Mal. Armiss’ true purpose is realized when Mal follows him back to the Inn where he was abducted by the Red Mantis. A long awaited warm welcome at Defender’s Heart leaves the group ready to continue on their epic journey. Spouses are reunited, information is shared, a lot of house keeping gets done, and even Zuul gets a little snack! After briefly discussing their pasts, Armiss find himself dreaming of some celestial hospital. Could this be a heaven like realm, or is this Armiss' introduction to hell!?

Catastrophe ambushes our heroes once more, felling Lady Anevia in her own home! An invisible foe was no match for our party, but did allow the ignoble knight ‘Jameson’ to escape his just desserts. With a new lead on where to find Irabeth and the last stronghold of the city, the party ventures forth once more. What strange surprises will our heroes meet now that they are level 4!?

Welcome back, listeners! After a little investigation the party realizes evil knights have taken over the Blackwing library and are attempting to burn the books there. Once the threat is dealt with and Aravashnial returned they continue onward to their final ward’s residence. However, upon reaching Anevia’s house horror strikes! What trickery tries to thwart our party now? What shadows come for our heroes now?? WHEN WILL THE PARTY FINALLY BE FREE OF SUCH USELESS COMPANIONS!?

Welcome back, Power Word: Fam! After questioning, the party is bombarded with information. Desolation has been wrought upon the city, many were taken prisoner, more were killed outright, and the fighting is yet to finish. With few other choices, the party continues toward Gwyrm Manor with an additional knight in tow. Finding the manor abandoned, Horgus laments his past and what he will do now. Before rewarding the party with their promised gold, he reveals that he has the same rune burned into his flesh as Ionus. They claim to have never met (though a wise bard knows brothers when he sees them). With one fewer member the group heads to the Blackwing Library and dispatches a group performing an evil ritual on the way.
