I resisted the Podcast craze until now. Then I found Positively Creative. I didn’t realize how many great podcasts were out there to help me with my creative business and Dorothy’s is one of the best. I learn an amazing amount of new tips with each episode. It’s reassuring to know I’m doing things right and be introduced to ideas and tools I had know ideas existed. Ex. Print drop shipping! Mind blown! Keep up the A+ work.

Dorothy is so real and honest, and asks great questions! Building an art community is so essential in the life of an artist and this podcast feels like part of that for me. Great job Dorothy!!

I listen to a lot of podcasts about art and thought I would give this one a try. I am on the fence about this podcast. Most of the guests seem great,honest, kind, helpful. The host seems to want to talk about herself more than her guests. Very self glorifying. When guests speak she says “yeah, uh huh..well, when ‘I’”... she always turns every conversation back to herself and how she does something. It reminds me of that saying, “listen to understand, not to reply” I literally cringe when she speaks about herself. Also it is labeled “positively creative” but the host comes off very snobbish and know it all. Her attitude doesn’t match the title of the show. It should be labeled, Dorothy talks about herself and friends who will listen.” Lol!

This podcast is my go-to while I'm working on my own art, cooking, doing chores around the house, whatever!! But I have to be careful....if I'm doing any of those things other than making art, I may stop short and head into my (bedroom) studio to hide away for the rest of the night! This podcast is totally relatable as an artist who has really just started to put myself out there despite making art for years because Dorothy hosts artists that have been out there for awhile and artists who have only just begun! She has amazing guests, and I always know I will take something away from each episode. Thank you for being so uplifting in the art community!!! It's so easy to get bogged down and negative, and this is a fresh burst of energy!

I love that you interview various fields of artists and I like to hear where people came from before landing where they are. This podcast should be titled "Dorothy's Soapbox" or something, because every single interview turns into her talking and sharing her stories or experience more than letting the interviewee talk. She acts as an expert on everything. (I guess that's what people who create podcasts feel...). I have continued to listen to try to hear the guests because she has had some intriguing ones on, and they have all been very gracious with her style, but she talks SO slow and interrupts and is awkward and is overall very hard to listen to. I have to listen in fast forward speed to get through her part of it.
