I decided to live off the land. It didn't work out. If I were a pioneer, I'd be dead. I fought urban squirrels, killed zucchini, and hunted down tomatoes in the weeds. Then I'd go to the store. One day,  I learned something.  My food was better. So was my peace of mind.
