जिस तरह मनुष्य अपनी संतान की रक्षा हर कष्ट से करता है, उसी तरह ईश्वर भी अपने भक्त को दुखों से बचाने के लिए सक्रिय हो जाते हैं। मुख्य बात यह है कि आपके मन में संदेह नहीं आना चाहिए। आपके अंतर्मन में पूरा विश्वास होना चाहिए कि वो हमारे पिता हैं और हमारी भलाई के लिए संलग्न हैं। वो हर कष्ट से हमें बचा लेंगे। इसी परिप्रेक्ष्य में यह कविता है।

तनिक ठहरो गहरी सांस लो आंखें बंद कर अंतर्मन की आवाज सुनो क्या चाहता है। तुम्हारा मन और तुम समय की रफ्तार में प्रतिस्पर्धा के बाजार में खो रहे हो खुद को तनिक ठहरो रुको अपने अंतर्मन की आवाज़ सुनो.....

Finding a true Guru is good fortune. Holding on to the Guru is v difficult. When I stood in front of the clear light of my Guru, my shadows made frightening forms behind me. There was no place and no way to hide. The fire & heat of standing in the presence of truth would get too much.  I had a thousand reasons to run away. And maybe just one that whispered 'stay'.  Perhaps it is also the Guru's grace that I stayed. This poem I dedicate to my Revered Guru dev my Master.
