After being away for many months Podcast With A Poet is back with a new guest. Quis Brooks and I are here to talk about the call of the black man and what we are able to do to get back to our thrones. The question of the podcast is simply "What happened to you king?" A conversation with Jada Russell and Kali about their experiences with sexual assault. This episode will cover both molestation and rape. These ladies will tell their stories as well as how they were effected by what they went through. We will also dive into coping mechanism and learning to accept whatever it is that we are feeling as people who have not dealt with their trauma. A conversation with a lifelong friend, brother, and family member Cameron Turner. This discussion includes Cameron Turner's background with being a St.Louis all American and his transition to Miami University to play as the starting defensive end. We will dive into his personal experiences as a football player, as well as someone who has dealt with suicidal thoughts and attempt. We will also dive into our views on the controversial conversation, Kendrick Lamar vs. J Cole. Cameron gives his views on what it takes to come to deal with depression as well as losing family members and how that impacted him as a person and an athlete. You will also hear the poem "Intoxication" by Tevin The Poet. 

A conversation with Veronica Jones and Dinah West about their personal experiences at a PWI as a black woman as well their first time experiencing culture shock from being a black woman.
