I've been listening through the back catalog of this podcast recently and have been having a blast doing it! The hosts take a lighthearted approach to the movies, but also take them seriously and provide solid analysis of their strengths and weaknesses. It's a neat trick -- they have the ability to make fun of a movie while also treating it with respect. (Their treatment of ZARDOZ one episode that comes to mind in this regard.) I recommend starting with an episode about a movie that you love, and then continue digging in with the most recent episodes.

Best movie based podcast out there. Reminds me of all the weekends I spent watching Syfy original movies with frands.

The crew of pdsmios present an entertaining and thoughtful look at science fiction and fantasy films. Joel, Sarah and Aaron (and special guests) provide insight into factors such as music, artistic design, pop culture references (especially comic book related), philosophy, and politics. The one factor that they discuss which few reviewers do is the entertainment factor. Is it fun?!? Is it enjoyable? They share their insights with lots of humor.

This is a wonderful podcast with wonderful hosts!

These guys are a lot of fun and cover all kinds of fantastical movies, from weird B stuff to superhero blockbusters. A good crash course in the supernatural.

The hosts have such a great rapport that you can't help but feel like youre there hanging out with them. Veyr fun show that gets into some movies I might never have heard of otherwise!

The hosts have a great rapport and their love of sci-fi is obvious. I feel like I could totally hang with them, if I were just a little bit cooler. Not, like, a lot cooler. But a little bit. They talk about great movies I rarely hear discussed on other podcasts -- a must listen for any sci-fi/fantasy fan.
