Today we finish our discussion of Plato with the dialogue Theatetus, which is basically about knowledge. Spoiler, they conclude that they don't know what knowledge is, but this is kind of in line with Socrates' whole schtick. We share our thoughts on what knowledge is though, so listeners have that to look forward to!

PDAMX#X.1- Critical Critique of Hearing Hearing
Today we talk with Brother X about Peter Szendy’s book “Listen: A History of Our Ears. Specifically we discuss chapter 2, which makes some pretty philosophical points about whether people degrade arrangements more in modern times than they did prior to 1773. He also puts forth the idea that the arrangement works in tandem with the original work to strive towards a sort of ideal "Work". We do some post hoc dunking on Liszt, Schumann, and Berlioz as well, but of course it’s all in good fun….
