Exactly what I needed
Thank you Dr. Milah for creating this space that I didn’t know I needed until I found it! I can easily relate to everything you speak about even as a happily married mom. The lessons and reflections are universal at their core and I’ve gained so much from listening. Keep up the excellent work!

Brilliant!!!
Thank you so much for creating this space Dr. Marie. It is so important that as doctors we see that our options are LIMITLESS. You never know whose life you are changing but you are. I just listened to the episode with you and Dr. Adam Harrison and I humbled and honored that my work brings such value to you. I had tears as I listened. Thank you!

We Need This Now
I was surprised and encouraged to hear a podcast that makes the connection between the repeated traumas that Black women experience and our health. There’s no victim-blaming here; only affirmation and a path to creating a space of wellness for yourself. Love this.

Long time coming
I have been looking forward to a podcast like this for a long time. A lot of our struggles with health (not just weight) are compounded by lack of practical knowledge of how and why our bodies are doing what they are doing. Hopefully this podcast will arm us with knowledge to overcome our individual health hurdles and understand why our health outcomes are what they are. I am a witness that once you understand what your body is doing, it is easier to change habits and improve.

YES! YES! YES!
Wow, Dr. Kamilah! What an amazing topic to start this podcast journey. You literally “hit the ground running” with your opener 🤗. Everything that you shared was relatable. Thank you for introducing the term “Syndemic” and using the race analogy because it offers your listeners mainly your typical “visual learners” the opportunity to “see”. I look forward to your next podcast and wish you absolute best 🤟🏽.
