Consistency is the key to every single business on earth. Consistency is one of the most important skills to continue not only the survival of a phone flipping business but the growth of your phone flipping Business. Today I talk about the different things you can be doing in your phone flipping business to drive consistency. Every phone flipper knows that the phone market is a bit shaky at the moment with Rsim being down. Prices on carrier locked phones are low and people are feeling the pinch.
In this episode I outline how things like getting reviews and posting to Instagram can have huge effects on your business. Building relationships with other business owner's in your area by interacting with them on Instagram can funnel customer's directly to you. The best part is it is free to do! Getting reviews on Facebook and Google My Business for your Phone Flipping Business can have a huge impact on the trust that the public has in your business and the authority you have in the market share for your area.
Many phone flippers seem to gloss over building the local brand and while the market is down, staying consistent on the back end of your business is sure to pay dividends when the market picks back up.

Are you struggling with managing the working capital in your phone flipping business? Today I discuss some of the issues that I see many new and seasoned phone flippers struggle with when it comes to money.
It is important to manage your working capital appropriately if you want your business to grow.
How much money do you need to flip phones? Well that all depends on where you are at in your phone flipping journey. A new rookie won't need a ton to get started. I started flipping phones with only $136. After that first flip though I was very careful to manage my capital appropriately. This has allowed me to scale my phone flipping business at a much faster rate than those people that mismanage their money.
Some tips to keeping your working capital healthy is to move your phones or devices as quickly as possible. Sometimes this means taking a little less profit from each phone. What you gain from selling for a little less is the ability to get your money back very quickly. Getting your working capital back quickly affords you the opportunity to buy more deals and make more profit.

This weeks episode features an interview with Curtis Atkins Jr. Curtis owns a cell phone repair business in Raleigh North Carolina. His story is interesting because not only does he offer cell phone repair as a service to the public, but he also finds unlocked, damaged phones to buy, repair, and then flip for a healthy profit.
We deep dive his upcoming office acquisition and how he plans to utilize the space for his business but also use it to work his full time job at the same time. He goes on to tell us about how his new space is a shared office space and how he hopes the networking environment with other entrepreneurs will help his business.
Curtis, like many others, kind of stumbled in to the repair business because he kept breaking his own Samsung phone and realized how expensive it was to fix at 200-250 a pop! He found out about the repair game from a youtube channel called Jt Hustle's. After getting his feet wet a little bit he bought several different cell phone repair courses to help round out his knowledge and skills.
To get started and help build his confidence and skill, Curtis decided to attempt repairs on some old personal phones. Even with practice he tells us about some screw up's he had and how he fixed it. Chris says he wants to be "The Chic Fil A of cell phone repair" with his customer service. From what he tells us about his customer service, i'd say he is well on his way.
We then learn a little bit about how he sources phones to buy, fix, and sell and the couple of different strategies he uses to maximize his profit per deal.
Old phone's vs New phones, are they the same still?
Chris tells us mentors, courses, and a solid network of people is the way to go when looking to start and scale a cell phone repair business!

On this episode I talk about how reviews are killing your business, or reviews are making your business EXPLODE!
Why are reviews important? Reviews are the absolute life blood of my business. Considering I am meeting strangers in a public place with them bringing expensive devices or stacks of cash for my expensive phones, it is super important for them to feel comfortable in doing so!
Having good reviews on your business page afford you multiple things. When someone comes to your business page, whether that be facebook business page, Instagram, or Google My Business listing, they are looking for popularity and reliability.
What story does your reviews tell? Do they tell the public that you are an amazing business with even more amazing customer service? Or do your reviews tell the local public that you are a shady company that is not to be trusted?
