If we are unable to express our emotions and thoughts directly and assertively and properly defend our stance and beliefs, we will ultimately forfeit our assignment as disciples of Christ and fishers of me.

What I have been learning along the way...

I've been on a solitude journey. I've been trying to break down the ideas and images of myself that don't belong to me that I have been accepting as my identity. I do not have to be who my family, friends, coworkers, and even ex significant others believe I should be. I am discovering my true identity in Christ, my God given authority to make the most out of my life, and utilizing the gifts that God has given me to enhance my quality of life and that of my family!

Prayer is a conversation with God. If you know how to speak, you know how to pray. If you know how to write, you know how to pray. If you know how to cry, you know how to pray! We will get into prayer more of course but here’s a few examples!
