Love hearing about all the weird and interesting stories from my home state of Florida. Listened to episode #10. Interesting enough I recall Rachel’s Grandfather talking about how he and his close friend Joe H used a divining rod to locate water on Joe’s property in Georgia for a well. It’s not a pot hole from city hall hell in search of buried treasure but it evidently worked for a water well according to those two. Keep up the great work ladies❤️

I love this show and learning more about the creepy side of Florida! I can tell Rachel and Karina do a lot of research before each episode.

I love the format of this podcast and the back-and-forth between the hosts. As a Floridian for several decades now, I've heard little tidbits of some of the stories they've dug up, but I love their deep dives into the weird people and events of the so-called Sunshine State.

Peninsula Obscura is a wonder. Karina Kolb and Rachel Peacock bring stories of Florida oddities to life with proper research and delightful storytelling.
