Hebrews 8:1–6 teaches that Jesus Christ is the perfect High Priest who ministers in the true heavenly sanctuary, not in an earthly tabernacle made by human hands. The old covenant pointed people toward God's plan of redemption, but the new covenant fulfills that plan through Christ. God's promises now include complete forgiveness of sins, a transformed heart, and an enduring relationship with Him. As believers, we are called to trust in these better promises, live faithfully under Christ's leadership, and rejoice in the certainty that His covenant offers lasting grace, peace, and eternal life.
