I want to start off by saying that I’ve been watching your videos on YouTube and I think you’re doing a great job of taking Christian apologists down a peg or ten! Having been an atheist for quite some time now, I love to see other nonbelievers in deities manning the bulwarks, as it were! Keep it up, Paul! And don’t think that you’re not intelligent, because you are, in your own special unique way!

As a former christian myself, I appreciate this former Christian’s attitude while dealing with the difficult subject of rearranging one’s entire life due to Cog Diss. Whatever power is out there, help us be More Loving and Less Douchey(Like the fake Jesus was when he wasn’t busy being a douche).

Paulogia is indispensable to the progress of humanity and if you care about diminishing misinformation and living in apparent reality. Excellent work! Don’t ever stop 👍🏽hero!!!

Organized, rational, fair!

Paulogia is one of the best skeptical Bible-focused podcasts available. He regularly interviews top-of-the-field biblical scholars who openly admit that it’s impossible to take the Bible at face value from a historical perspective. He also interviews/features prominent Christian scholars who likewise highlight all the problems with biblical literalism and fundamentalist approaches to the Bible. The result is a relatively critical yet fair analysis of many of the Bible’s ‘historical’ claims - especially with regarding to young earth creationism and the historical plausibility of Jesus’ supposed resurrection. Open-minded Christians and skeptics alike will learn a lot from ongoing engagement with this podcast.

I’ve recommended this podcast to a number of family members and friends who are reevaluating their Christian beliefs. All of them have reported back that even though the scholarly content presented here is challenging to them, they appreciate the host’s and his guests’ civility and lack of condescension.

I find myself typically at odds with most skeptical podcasts as I can’t stand their sneering attitudes nor can I throw in my lot with christians as I have come to believe their positions aren’t warranted. This podcast is amazing. This podcast host takes seriously the Christian claims and refutes them, calmly and without getting his panties in a bind. Keep up the amazing work!

I happened upon this podcast while searching for a subject in the app. I have been binge-listening ever since. Paul hits the trifecta of having an enjoyable speaking voice, being knowledgeable and asking great questions and having interesting guests! 10/10 will recommend to friends and colleagues!

I’m a current Christian, and although Paul and I definitely disagree on major, life-changing points (big surprise there), Paul puts out a lot of great content. His stuff on the resurrection is a great challenger to some of the other, Christian resources I take information from. The podcast for Jesus Mythicism featuring Godless Engineer could very well be true and completely compatible with the mere Christianity (as I see it), so I wish Paul brings him back and runs through it again with another Christian. However, I do wish that Paul, if he hasn’t already, studies some analytic philosophy and ethics (maybe some meta-ethics) to improve some of his philosophical claims. From what I can tell, he’s either a limitivist or reductionist when it comes to mind-body dualism (controversial, even among atheists). I haven't heard an explicit statement that he isn’t, but many statements that seem to suggest it. One thing that would change my review from 4 stars to 5 stars is more content with theistic academics such as discussions about more philosophical content such as the more philosophical New Kalam arguments, Leibnizian-Style arguments, or revisions of Aquinas’s five ways. Regardless, you have some of the best content on the historical Jesus there is.

Hands down one of the best podcasts discussing Christian Apologetics and the problems with popular arguments for Christianity. All from the perspective of a former Christian who would love to be convinced Christianity is true, but exposes the flaws in bad arguments used to justify belief.

This is the podcast/YouTube I show to Christians who assume atheists are angry or have some sort of righteous fury. Paul is clear, concise, conscientious, and calm. He really is one of the best faces for atheism and I really recommend it to anyone who needs ideas or tactics in talking to loved ones about theism or philosophy.

Paul really demonstrates the pique of what apologetics YouTube debates can be with his willingness to acknowledge when he doesn’t know something, bring in experts, and do the research. He is a treasure to public scholarship on the Bible in his engagement with scholars, willingness to foster strong debate and communication, and his dedication to the methods of quality scholarship. Can’t recommend this show enough!

Paul is well researched and well spoken, all while being respectful and kind. it’s my favorite new podcast and is consistently fantastic. 5/5 stars, i would highly recommend.

Paul really does his research and his responses are always well thought out and reasoned. This podcast is an amazing resource for anyone trying to work through christian apologetics. Also, the guests Paul has on the show are generally amazing and this podcast can be a nice introduction to them and their work.

Ever heard that the Bible is innocent until proven guilty? Paul takes many of the stories, mantras and positions widely accepted in the Christian beliefs to correct the record. Any Christian apologist will keep blinders on for faith, still must stand on the dissenting views of millennia ago. Paul takes on those apologists unwillingness to share the whole truth.

Well spoken and informed with a personality he describes as a perfectionist that puts ideas and conversations ahead of the gotcha sound bites

Paulogia’s content is terrific. It is in-depth, thought provoking and much needed for anyone looking for spiritual truth.

Paul is really interesting to listen to and very intelligent on the bible and the different beliefs christians claim.

It’s surprisingly difficult to find both some one willingly to look at Christianity critically and also respectfully but Paulogia manages this. Both thoughtful and sincere, he gives a deep honest look at Christianity that will make you think. Highly recommended for believers and non believers a like looking for a more cordial educated look at Christianity from a unique perspective then the more common close minded views expressed by many believe and nonbelievers alike.

Honest insights into Christianity

I watched this episode on Paul's youtube channel a while ago. Now I'm listening to the podcast and I'm loving it just as much the second time through. As a former Christian myself, it is refreshing to hear Paul's take on topics like Creationism (Or ID, depending on who you are trying to fool).

I’ve watched Paul’s YouTube channel for years and he has always proven to be intelligent and entertaining. He maintains a respectful tone and does a great job of explaining his positions. Even if you don’t agree with him, he’s definitely worth listening to

If you need to hear some well thought out arguments.

I started watching a Paulogia when he started his YouTube channel in 2016 and have been subscribed and watching ever since. Paul’s content is rational, measured, and always thought – through. He always sites his sources and his low-key delivery is wonderful. You cannot go wrong subscribing to his podcast.

Yes, thoughtful is on there twice. There is no more "thoughtful" athiest out there rebutting the claims of Christians.
