Fresh from a World record-breaking Mile in London, this week we're honoured to welcome World Champion and Olympic medallist Josh Kerr to the Run Club.
Paula and Thommo delighted in chatting to Josh straight after his Commonwealth Games Mile success - serendiptious as it was that the race was added back in for Glasgow - they wanted to know how much pressure he felt now he's the record holder and how that converted in to more success.
We delve a little deeper into his Project 222 and learn a little more about why he never makes things easy for himself, plus, who does he think would win in a hypothetical Mile race with all the record holders on the start line?!Looking into Josh's future, we see marathons but probably not any 5000m races because "no one cares about it"...! Go on, have a listen and then let us know what you think!
We have a brilliant listener offer for you: Wild Nutrition are giving Paula’s Run Club listeners an exclusive 50% off for three months and a free personal consultation with a nutritional therapist. Just go to https://www.wildnutrition.com/paula to get started. T&Cs apply
We'd love to hear from you with your questions, comments and nominations for the Honour's Board which has now moved to The Shakeout episode on a Thursday.

Welcome to this week's shakeout where we open up the mailbox (well, emails, WhatsApp and socials!) and share all of our wonderful audience interaction with you.
Paula & Thommo answer a question from a listener asking how to safely rebuild her mileage and pace after a five-year hiatus to achieve a new marathon personal best.
They also answer a question from Kirsty, who wants advice on rebuilding trust in her body and transitioning away from historical performance comparisons while returning to running after medical recovery.
There's also a look at how the menopause can affect your running and what measures you can put in place to guide yourself through it.
And there's the Bacon Butty Brigade!

Welcome to Week 13 of "Here Comes The Run" and we're thrilled to welcome reigning Olympic Triathlon Champion Cassandre Beaugrand to the club!
Cassandre has been on absolute fire on the track this season, shattering French national records in both the 5,000m (Nice) and the 3,000m (Monaco Diamond League).
In this episode she opens up about how she balances high-level triathlon volume with elite track speed; her time training out of her comfort zone in Loughborough; and dealing with hyper-nervousness and intense pressure on her way to winning Olympic gold on home soil in Paris.
Now it's about Cassandre rediscovering the pure joy of running.
This week, we're also bouncing back from a phenomenal weekend of athletics, starting with Josh Kerr's incredible world record performance in the mile at the London Diamond League

This weeks' Shakeout was recorded live before a lovely audience at the stunning Gala Theatre in Durham during the Durham City Run Festival
Straight off the back of a showing of Paula's film Chasing Stars, Paula & Thommo grilled local hero Steve Cram - and so did the audience! In this episode, Paula attempts to break down her infamous, grueling pre-marathon track workout - the Bondenko session - much to the confusion and amusement of Chris and Steve. The conversation takes a personal turn as they explore the unique realities of raising children around world-class athletics. Then in the Q&A how does a first-time marathoner re-establish a training routine after completing the New York Marathon?
Huge thanks to everyone who came along to see Paula's film and to stay beyond a World Cup semi-final kick off time to see and hear the podcast, and to ask such great questions!
No one tell them the score, okay? It's just best that way...
