Author interviews by Sarah Nicolas provide an open and honest window into writer experiences with publishing. A great source of info on the industry from a variety of author perspectives.

It is so comforting to hear the VASTLY different journeys authors have taken to get to publication. More importantly, you get to hear the actual query letters that got them there!

I am a new and instant fan of Sarah and love the format of these interviews, which get right into the practical info that writers want to know about the industry and process. I have my own podcast focused on books featuring women in aviation where I ask similar questions, and love hearing and learning from the q&a here. Especially love the ‘author dna’! And as a YA writer hoping to query soon, I appreciate the guests sharing their experiences for us to learn from. Will be sharing with my 70+ Aviatrix writers group and with my VCFA WCYA friends.

This is a great podcast with excellent guests and a lot of information about writing and publishing I haven’t heard anywhere else. Sarah does a fantastic job bringing out the best in the interviews. She also has a lovely ‘NPR’ like voice that is easy to listen to.

Great, clear audio quality and the host has a pleasant voice. Covered information about queries that I don’t come across often. Most shows go over query problems, but it’s good to hear one that succeeded and the whole process after that step. Definitely subscribing for more!
