Great teacher!
Adam’s way of teaching patent law makes it easy to follow the whole process! Practical, insightful, understandable. I couldn’t have got my patent approved without him and his podcast!

Simple, methodical, thorough
Puts all the key elements into bite-sized chunks in logical order and plain language. Examples are often good for a chuckle, too.

Attitude matters
A nuts & bolts explanation of the patenting process in bite=sized chunks
I'm surprised and thrilled that this podcast exists! I've tried to do patent searches, and to read patents in preparation for getting a patent of my own, but I have mostly found frustration. By explaining exactly how to prepare a patent (and importantly, WHY some of the byzantine and counter-intuitive aspects are as they are), Adam gives a vital under-the-hood tour. I am going to follow these instructions to prepare my patent(s) because doing so will force me to think the way patent attorneys and the global patent offices do, and to think about strategies and the commercialization of my invention at a deep level. Then I will take my draft documents to a patent attorney who will undoubtedly rewrite everything from scratch, but will likely create better results sooner (and with less expense!), and be able to communicate with me more effectively and efficiently because of my groundwork.
