President Donald Trump issued a bold 48-hour ultimatum on Truth Social, demanding that Iran fully reopen the Strait of Hormuz or face U.S. strikes to obliterate power plants. In response, Iran defiantly rejected the demand, vowing to completely close the Strait indefinitely and target regional infrastructure across the Gulf — including U.S. and allied facilities — if its power grid is attacked. Iranian officials labeled such U.S. actions as war crimes and promised irreversible destruction in retaliation. Later updates show Trump postponing strikes for five days amid reported productive talks, but tensions remain high with the Strait still restricted.WE ALSO COVER: ICE agents will become TSA agents.
