In every story, she paints a beautiful picture. I feel like I’m sitting right there in the room. It feels so good to have her back and I kind of never want her to leave.

Beautiful story telling I find myself fully immersed

Passing through is incredibly well produced from the audio quality to the beautiful wordplay, each episode is an experience. I get a vivid picture of the story and find myself lost in the story. 10/10

Nneka beautifully writes and narrates such powerful scenes and weaves them all into an impactful story. Once I started listening, I was hooked!

This is the first & only podcast where I actually felt every emotion from every storyteller, whether that be Nneka herself or guests being featured. I have laughed and cried and even been triggered. I am so grateful this platform was created. It’s an inspiration to hear women be so candid & honest about the many journeys in life that we all pass through.

In life, we often learn through experiences. However, they don't always have to be our own experiences, we can learn through that of others. I'm grateful that Nneka so eloquently shares stories and experiences, giving us lessons to ponder on. The podcast is such an easy listen and beyond relatable. They're my favorite part of the day and I can't wait for season 4.

One of my friends introduced me to this podcast. I’m almost kind of disappointed because I’ve listened to every episode already; and I’m dying for Nneka to upload more. This podcast is truly inspirational. To hear another black girl that’s able to articulate her life lessons in the story form that she does is absolutely admirable. It’s really opened my eyes back up to my own art form media, and really getting back to that. Nneka you are a phenomenal storyteller and what you’ve curated here is indeed amazing.

I was lucky enough to catch this podcast (thanks to Alex elle) where I was about to binge listen... it was as if I was with my friend and she was telling me stories and i laughed and said “girrrrrlll” so many times, I cried. I sat down with my TRENTA Iced coffee and all I could do is imagine through the details.. and me living in Vegas I was able to have more detail of the hotel alone lol but this was something different it was perfect.. of course during dinner time when all came to an end I felt a new experience through your stories.. from love, heartbreak, racism... everything I’ve experienced.. thank you so much for this I can’t wait for more. Nneka has a wonderful, animated, funny and entertaining way of storytelling. Every episode literally makes me want to listen to the next one. I appreciate the visual way she takes you on her journeys. You can see and feel every minute.

This podcast made me excited to drive to and from work. My commute hasn’t been the same since I finished. A great mix of travel and real life/everyday situations.

I love everything about storytelling. You’ve inspired me to even start my own.

I first started listening to this podcast and really didn’t know what to expect. But I plugged in and I listened and I found myself so engrossed in this podcast. I truly feel anyone can pick a episode and find a similarity and/or connection wether it was the story itself, the destination, or the lessoned learned. You can take so much from these brief encounters that you can’t wait to here the next episode. I’m really excited to see what more Passing Thru has to offer. One of the most refreshing podcast out. I can’t wait for Season 2!

Treasures hidden within...Nneka has a gift! What ever she decides to do will flourish. It takes bravery to spill your truth and she spilled her whole heat out!! The stories made me feel I could vividly see, smell, taste and feel the moment. Only great story tellers have the gift to provide any audience with that experience.

This is THE podcast that sucked me into the realm of podcast. I followed Nneka on IG and when she started this podcast, it took me a while to get on board to listening to it but once I started, there was no going back. Every story is so relatable either to me or to a friend and I find myself listening to an episode and quickly sending it to a friend because they were going through the exact thing she was talking about. I had a chance to meet her in NYC because she had the live the day I got there but I could not get a ticket :( I really hope to meet her one day. She is such an amazing storyteller. I hope to make an impact with my platform the way she currently does & share my experiences with people going through the exact same in life <3

No lie episode one will have you hooked! You will be binging soon enough. Nneka’s talent of storytelling and her gift of making you feel enveloped in her history makes you question why you haven’t been listening to her every word from day one.
