A journey of 16 and 3 quarter miles, Eveleen Clarke, fraught with transport inadequacies, finally made the location to open Annangrove Public School. After numerous letters explaining reasons for the delays, the week long wait by the pupils was over.

At 78, She is The World’s 8th Best Swimmer for 200m Backstroke in Her Age Group
Mrs Chistiakoff’s teacher told her to put her face in a basin of water and blow bubbles. She did that for weeks. After knowing this, she couldn’t swim if her face was out of water for more time than it takes to breathe. A somewhat superlative lesson semblance in showcasing performance, but at full throttle in being awarded Parramatta’s First Sportswoman of the Year, in 1993.

A Missing Boot Was Found Looking Like It Got Ran Over By Four Semi Trailers
4-6pm on weekdays and 8-12pm on Saturday’s, the boot store was where boots were sorted, delivered to other boot stores and by this account, sometimes “looked like it (a shoe) got ran over by four semi trailers.”

Sister Philomena taught Cecil his multiplication. In her later years, she asked those who came to visit her if they could also ask Cecil to come to visit her, but Cecil was frightened and nervous and regrets his decision.

Tree Climbing and Cicada Catching at Hambledon Cottage
Being the only known one to ever ask for permission to climb a tree in the grounds of Hambledon Cottage, Cecil delightedly returned home with a hand full of cicadas. While one friend may have thought of entering the premises to be impressioned by “the lady living there would chase people off with her broomstick”, this lady had actually been more than happy towards this intruder than anyone else, to fulfill his request.
