Wonderful, real, relatable guests
I have thoroughly enjoyed Kelsey’s podcasts. I don’t have kids but am around them through my job as a teacher and all of my friends and family with kids. What I enjoy the most is that the guests are genuine and relatable. Often what we hear or see on tv seems so different than our own lives, people with a lot more around the clock care and money. Parently brings in real guests with real stories, problems, successes, failures, etc. Kelsey and her guests share their stories with humor, honesty and Midwestern values. Worth the listen whether you have children or just enjoy kids.

Time Well Spent
I had a 6-hour roundtrip car ride and took the opportunity to do some catching up on the Parently series!! It made my car trip so enjoyable! Kelsey’s choice of guests is helping this 50+ year-old woman learn new things each and every time I listen! My goal in life is to never stop learning and Parently is one way to keep that going!

Relatable, funny, sweet and humble
Kelsey is such a good host connecting with her guests to bring out their stories. Don’t believe the title, this is great for both parents and non-parents.

So Real, Relatable, and Well Made
This podcast is so good. I’m not a parent yet, and I still find it incredibly relatable. It highlights something social media doesn’t always show us: no family is perfect and parenting is hard! I think it’s validating that there is no “normal” family and we all have our own unique experiences, struggles, and successes we bring to the table.
If you’re thinking of having kids, or a new parent, or someone needing a dose of reality among a world of social media “perfection,” then this is for you.
It successfully walks the line of positivity and realism without completely invalidating the fact that adulting is hard and we all have our struggles.

Heartwarming
I love how this post cast humanizes the topic of parenting which can be taboo in our society. It’s not all rainbows and sunshine and Parently shows us that is ok as well as acceptable. The guests are genuine and have heartwarming stories- letting parents know they are not alone, which the world needs more of that right now.

Real talk for real families
Real, raw and relevant! Being a parent can be a really isolating experience - and unique in so many ways. I find the different circumstances shared by a wide range of families and their unique challenges (and tips for overcoming) refreshing and helpful to gain perspective on what I may be going through.

Real people
I love that these are real people and not just our celebrities advocating for their children. This is a great podcast and you learn a little something with each one!

Enlightening:
Loved the whole topic. Not only was it informative but as someone who comes in contact with a variety of moms, grandparents, and family members, I feel more confident on how to approach the subject of there world in the life of a child with Down’s syndrome.
Thank you Kelsey for being a beacon of light on a subject that is rarely talked about.
Can’t wait for your next podcast.

Inspiring
When saw the first episode was 48 minutes long, my instinct was to move on to a podcast that fit my time constraints a bit more. So glad I didn’t. My wife and I learned so much and we were inspired by the stories and interaction. Thanks so much for sharing.
