Let me tell you a secret. No parents really know what they’re doing. We’re all just trying to figure it out the best we can. I’m Rachelle Martin, and welcome to Parenting Simplified. After receiving my Master’s Degree in Special Education, I had my two children. Alex, our first, was such an easy baby. Our second child, Thea, was a little more complicated. Refusing to eat, she would have throat surgery at eight weeks old, then had a feeding tube and a stay-at-home nurse. Us parents practically lived at the children’s hospital for the next year. With these wildly different experiences building me into a better parent, I was inspired to provide others with needed support.  Alex & Thea, our baby product brand was established, and I have been working on my passions of parenting, business, and education ever since.
