today we are talking about punishments and consequences and how sometimes we will take a logical consequence and make it into a punishment. This is why logical or correlated consequences aren't working for your kids. It's not that you need a better consequence, you need to adapt your mindset to accommodate what the purpose of a consequence really is. Which is teaching, not to cause suffering or discomfort.
