The first step to knowledge is purity of purpose. My purpose is to learn, and to share as I learn. This podcast is an invitation to join me on my journey deeper into Islam, its history and its place in the world we live in today. As in all things, we start from the beginning. The first book I will be reading is Adil Salahi's masterful biography of the Prophet of Islam 'Muhammad: Man and Prophet.' This tells the story not only of the prophet, but also the religious and cultural development of the religion which is now followed by a quarter of the global population.
