Eamon: Business Success Despite Chronic Pain
My friend Eamon took some time to chat in this episode about his journey starting his own aircraft management business and still being successful despite chronic muscle pain he experiences in his jaw, which requires regular treatments at the doctor. If you're interested in hearing about planes, starting a business, or the keys to success, this is the episode for you!"I've found that there's always different ways to do the same thing... being creative and resourceful with getting the same job done in different ways, or even maybe finding a different role that works better. ... There's almost always a way to figure something out."If you do struggle with a medical condition that affects your ability to do your job, Eamon suggests keeping an open line of communication with your employer that enables you both to work as a team to find the best solution for both parties. When it comes to success, Eamon thinks a healthy work/life balance is key. "You don't have to work 20 hours a day and not have friends or anything. You can still be... successful.""If you make good use of your time and can be proactive, and put in quality work here and there when you can, there's ample time to build something for yourself without the draining effort." We had so much fun recording this episode for you; we hope you enjoy!
