Rain and Jacob take a hard look at the genesis of modern brewing, the medieval ages, monk nuns, and the Abbey system.

They find that the church was dealing with the same issues we deal with today.  That is the fragmentation of the community, the lack of basic necessities, and poor health. What they were not expecting was to find that the monks and nuns took this opportunity to explore their creativity and art.
