Happy Valentine's Day! Joined by Gabriella, we discuss how hard it is to love yourself and how self love comes from respecting yourself and gaining confidence from within. We also drew a line between being confident in your authentic self and being overly narcissistic to the point that you're putting others down. 

Along with two guest hosts and six guests, we discussed about how it was like growing up under the influence of multiple cultures and languages. We also shared the various superstitions, celebrations, manners, rules, and habits we have. Why is it hard fitting in sometimes? How do we celebrate Lunar New Year? Can we speak our native languages? 

Special guest, Karen, who is born and raised in Taiwan, calls us across the globe to discuss the differences between the American and Taiwanese public and private school systems. What are the high school and college entrance exams that most Asian students take? How do the college application processes differ between the two? What subjects/classes do they take? How long do they study for each day?

Today we had a blast chatting about the deathly finals week, our plans for winter break, and how we accidentally gifted each other the same thing because we both went last minute holiday shopping.
