February 27th On this day, Anna Julia Haywood Cooper rose to become one of the best-educated Black Women ever.  She went on to earn a PhD at the Sorbonne in France, and excelled as an educator, university founder, author, sociologist, feminist, and an activist against all oppression.  She published a seminal book, A Voice from the South, considered to be one of the first major works on feminism. February 19th On this day, The Pan-African Congress was held beginning in 1919 to coincide with the Peace talks in Paris after World War I.  W.E.B.
