Stumbled across this
This has quickly become one of my favorite podcasts. I joined the “Our Dads Died” club in June 2022. It was clearly the closest person to me who has ever died, and it came very suddenly and unexpectedly. The grief is also unexpected and still pops up periodically at random moments. Even after he died, however, they were a lot of moments of humor that we found that made those early days bearable. And now, my sisters and I will jokingly tell our mom “ Well, dad would’ve cared” anytime we don’t get in particular reaction out of her - it helps her giggle as well :) this podcast is an extension of that and it helps to find the humor and the absurdity of death and its rituals. Really enjoy it and I am spreading the word about you lads here in the states!

I’m terribly biased, but…
I’ve really enjoyed what these two have done. They’re honest and funny which is a great and often difficult to achieve combination. Thanks again for having me on. Your Daddy in Death, +Victor

Really great listen!!
My dad died in November 2021. This podcast has been full of all the things I’m thinking but don’t say out loud because I’m certain no one would understand. I love the approach of using humor, makes the subject more lighthearted and honestly, laughing about it was who my dad was.

Your dads would be so proud!
Tom’s dad was an absolute star in life and I’m sure he would love to hear the way you’re able to find humor through your grief, Tom.

I know your Dad would laugh at this!
Had the pleasure of knowing Tom’s Dad and he was a funny guy and would have got a real kick out of this! Nice work Tom and Rich!
