I was glad Mike played some voicemails last week which confirmed that this audience has a wide range of viewers & listeners. It’s sick, it’s boss, it’s the bomb, it’s tops……..(pick an age trope)!! It’s for everyone!

The most fun weekly news wrap-up of the weird, conspiracy-minded, or the obscure. I love that each host has their own little gimmick and lane they dive in. It’s a better show with all 3 there but is still somehow a good listen when it’s 1 or a sub host helps fill in for a week. Could not recommend more if you like the concept. Don’t change a thing, fellas.

This show consistently declines whenever Joe appears because he repeatedly blames Jews for every issue. It's the most negative aspect of the conversations and has significantly impacted the show's quality.

I’ve been listening since around 2020, and find myself listening to old episodes when I NEED more shenanigans. Y’all have really dialed it in and it’s just my type of crazy. Regardless of who is on it’s my number 1 pick. I could listen to Mike talk about anything. Highly recommend if you’re tired of everything else. I looooove the AJ clips of the week. Mike, you did a really good show by yourself this week

With or without Joe, I still find the show relevant. This show is a lighter hearted way for someone to keep their finger on relevant societal pulses. Point is, I still enjoy the show, especially when I need to take a break from the more glaringly evident issues in the world. Both pertaining to topics discussed on this show as well as topics no longer discussed. Mike and Cretchen are goofballs and that’s ok. They certainly have a place in this tapestry of chaos, we call our world.

The lack of Joe absolutely kills the vibe of this show. It has devolved into Mike covering almost exclusively, two “invisible threats” that we don’t understand, Aliens and AI. Then Cretched wraps up with Jerry Springer-esque stories or weird fast food flavored pies. I really don’t think I’ve outgrown the show that five years ago I couldn’t miss, I think the show has drastically gotten worse of late due to the lack of Joe, and Mikes insistence on obsessing over aliens and AI and their “looming threat”. You guys made that April fools prank like 4 years ago saying you were ending the show, it kind of feels like you actually did with how you’ve changed it.

Joe come back, we all miss you.

I’ve given this channel a fair chance and listened to a great deal of episodes. However, if you listen to one, you’ve unfortunately listened to them all. The AI songs, AJ voice overs and Midnight Mike routinely being talked down to and enduring aggressive tones from his cohosts make this podcast one to leave by the wayside. Good luck Midnight! I enjoy Doomscrolling with Tripoli. You two have great chemistry.

Since stumbling across OBDM during Covid, I listen to every episode and even revisit them when they get released on YouTube (appreciate the effort to get videos posted guys). I genuinely get excited whenever I see there’s a new episode out. That being said, I genuinely hate all of you. Mike’s sense of humor (especially his drops) is great, I wish he had a library of his sources for them (can’t find original “TWO? MAYBE FOUR?” Sound bite). I swear to god he’s purposely mispronouncing stuff at this point though. From names that EVERYONE has heard said aloud, to words that are commonplace for English speakers, Mike will always find a new way to pronounce it. There’s at least one mispronunciation every segment. I WOULD feel bad if it turned out Mike had dyslexia or something, but “if you have dyslexia, maybe you shouldn’t choose podcasting as a profession” sounds like a direct quote from midnight Mike himself. Joe makes the most contradictory statements of anyone on the planet, just starts by saying one absurd thing and completely walking it back by the end of the statement or the end of the following episode. If you listen closely during his segments, you can actually hear at which point in his thought process he ALMOST allows himself to think critically, but then just decides to agree with whatever statement from a political pundit showed up on his feed that day (likely Candace). Idk how someone who can’t think for themself can be SO opinionated. They aren’t even his opinions. Mental equivalent of that guy in high school whose biggest personality trait is whichever YouTube doc he watched most recently. Cretched gotta lotta hate in his heart, I respect it. This show would be an unbelievable performance art piece of a group of podcasters who slowly stop supporting a rude, unintelligent, pedophilic president, but they have such little spines that they never actually realize they don’t support him anymore. He’s in the files, any more fence sitting on that topic and you three will be complicit. Keep up the great work and make some changes! Or don’t! I’ll probably listen either way

This show is 100% better without Joe. I mean that in the most respectful way. I love the show, especially the earlier episodes where the was a lot more nonsense. Because of Joe, I was getting very close to giving up on it. I watched him go into this “downward spiral” over the years, bringing the show with it. Everything was so negative with him. It drove me crazy listening to his diva rants where he would say ridiculous things like I hope people get r-ped over their political views. It took all of the air out of the sails. This show used to so fun and lighthearted. One of my favorite things is when Mike would go off on tangents of goofiness. Joe would completely squash it and bring it back to serious politics. There’s a time and a place for the news and a time and a place to be fun. OBDM was at its best when it was leaning towards being fun and lighthearted. I just want to say that Mike and Cretched have seemed to find their stride again without him and I’m enjoying the show once again. I hope if Joe returns he will have a better attitude and find his place, and synergize better with Mike and Cretched. If this ever becomes the Joe show again, I’ll reluctantly walk away. Thank you Mike for all the great content over the years.

On listening to a few more shows, I am not in total agreement with some of the more rightwing views I encountered including a dismissal of climate change and how bad Nasa is. Nasa may have its faults but blame should rest with the hard line of the emerging fascist government which is shut down because SOME people are trying to fight back. This is not an era where anyone holds much respect for science, and any citizens who do, often get hate. And when I hear a nod for a certain racist billionaire, with his half busted rockets, I find myself disappointed.

Long time/first time. Y’all have been there for so much of my life. I’ve cooked thanksgiving and Christmas meals while listening, I’ve tripped my hotdog off. I’ve consumed night pickles. Cheers.
