Let’s get right into it. Part 1 of these posts was all about starting your journey and growing your channel. Part 2 is all about growing your wallet. I’ll talk about everything from specific tactics to monetization and other income streams - and this time I won’t forget telling you about that “secret” tactic I’ve been teasing in part 1. Words Of Caution But before I do, let me tell you one thing again: don’t go into this expecting to become a bazillionaire by summer of next year. Use YouTube and all other platforms as a creative outlet, some sort of memory book or because you feel like you have something interesting and of value to share. Money shouldn’t be your main motivation behind this...it’ll set you up for disappointment and take away all the beauty from the process. Do it to build skill sets, to experiment with new things and to grow as a person. Do it because you want to, not because you feel like you HAVE to. Alright, let’s go.

Landing pages are the follow-up pages after a prospect clicks on your advertisement on Facebook, Google, Pinterest, Instagram, etc. The goal of the landing page depends on the objective of your brand but most of the time you want to establish some sort of relationship to the potential customer. Is your goal to get an email, to make a sale or to get a phone call? You have to decide upfront and structure your website and landing page according to your objective and customer.  It's super important to follow these 12 steps precisely with your landing page in order to maximize the results and actually get converting customers and purchases. Make sure you've created your perfect customer avatar beforehand so that you can easily speak the same language and talk effectively about their pain points, hopes and fears. YouTube was founded in 2005 and with over 2 BILLION monthly active users, it’s one of the biggest video sharing sites out there. You can pretty much find anything you can think of on there...for real, think of the most random thing you can come up with and look at what YouTube will give you. You’d be surprised. And since 2007 they also made it possible to run ads, and it’s one of the best hubs to do so. This also why - like for so many people already out there - making a living via YouTube is only getting more and more common. We elaborate on finding video ideas, building a set of values to pursue and how to grab your audiences' attention in a good way. And the best thing about it: once a video is up and approved, it’ll remain untouched until you decide to take it down, collecting those sweet views all by itself...and the more views you get, the more tasty ad money goes into your bank account. I started out like that as well but came to the realization that this is simply the wrong way of doing it. There is no blueprint and there are no shortcuts. Although you could call it a self-help book, it’s not one of the usual ones…  How It’s Different First off, it’s not written in the regular “do this, do that” approach. As mentioned, it’s about the lawyer and the story is told from his point of view. In a conversation with an old friend, he talks about his new life and what he learned on his journey, told in a really beautiful way - it’s honestly a great read. Reading this, you’ll discover new strategies to expand your horizon and become truly grateful for life itself.  The book is also different in the way it’s structured. In it, the main character tells the story of a fable he learned.  This fable has seven elements that each represent an important key to a happier and more fulfilled life - and each has specific and actionable tactics to practice the principles.   So, I decided to structure this blog post in the same way: first I will tell you the fable and then I’ll quickly go over each of the seven elements and explain their meaning. I obviously won’t be able to do the book justice with a quick blog post like this so you should definitely read the book yourself, you won’t regret it. When it comes to Instagram, you have probably asked yourself the following question multiple times by now: How do all of these regular people manage to make so much money while you’re doing nothing different?  From the outside, it seems pretty easy, right? Just take some cute pics of yourself, post them with some smart hashtags, promote the post in your story, keep on doing this for like 3 years and voilà, you’re jet-setting around the world and your whole life is a vacation...actually, no. It’s much more than that.   Nothing Comes From Nothing We’re all spending a rather large part of our days on our phones and social media, why not use that time wisely and productively instead? The truth is, money won’t come by itself. I’ve said countless times that Instagram is hard work, and it still stands true. If you really want to succeed, you will need to have one of three things:   1. Time  2. Money  3. A large following   This is very off-putting for a lot of people because most have none of the above - I know that feeling all too well. Spending a lot of time on something in the hopes that it will pay off later is a risk you have to take - BUT you really have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Money can speed up the process and scale it to new heights - IF you know what you’re doing. A large following is the result of either one of those factors - OR both put together. With the year coming close to an end, lots of people spend their time reflecting on what the **** went down this year. I won’t go over all that’s happened because everyone’s done so enough already. What I want to focus on now is the one thing that’s become apparent to all that is most needed: Leadership.   The challenges our leaders faced this year have been incredibly hard to tackle and they exposed a lot of cracks everywhere. Some leaders coped better than others, and some simply weren’t up to the task at hand (...you know who). And it shows...a theme that continues in every instance where leadership is an important aspect - from governments to jobs to everyday life.   When we hear the word “leadership” we usually think about politicians, managers or higher-ranked people in general. What we often don’t realize is that basic leadership principles can be applied to any of our lives to make a huge difference. While people in power literally get paid to lead, this year left all of us more on our than ever before. When it comes to creating a brand through your persona it’s important to stay cool and relaxed. Show people how you are, talk to your audience, do some cool stuff, open mail/gifts, or do something else and just be yourself. You either become popular on Twitch by being entertaining or really good at a game. If you manage to do both you'll be big one day. Streaming is a great way to let people get to know you and to grow a passionate audience. If there are a lot of funny moments, your viewer base is more likely to create a highlight and send it to their friends. You profit from this as well since it’s now your turn to showcase this highlight on your channel. It’s all about content and being entertaining and trust me, every one is entertaining in some way, you just have to practice. As I already mentioned, Twitch is mostly used by gamers and therefore gameplays are the most popular type of streams on there. You may have heard from streamers like Ninja who is now sponsored by Red Bull or huge trends like Fortnite - that just goes to show how powerful that platform can be. I have a question for you: How many languages do you speak?  For lots of people reading this, the answer is more than one. Most people usually learn to speak a secondary language next to their native one either because they grow up in a multilingual household or because they learn it in school (for example: in Germany, it’s English from grade 3 onward, and a third language from grade 6). For most native English speakers though, attempts at learning another language in school are in vain.   The good news on the other hand is that it’s never been easier to change that. See, learning languages in school is such a backward way of doing it because not only is it ineffective and slow but it also takes out all the fun of it and in turn makes it something boring.  And I partly get why it’s done in such a way because everyone learns at a different pace, standardized tests and more reasons I won’t get into right now. But all of these factors are vaporized if you simply use the magic of the Internet to your advantage and turn learning a language into an adventure, not a chore.   1. Find you WHY.  2.
