They leave no stone unturned in breaking down all the factors that yield Oscar gold. Sasha is awesome and Jeff is lovably cantankerous.

These three have to be the most IGNORANT IDIOTS in podcasting!!!!!!!! Thier view & knowage of guns is PATHETIC!!!!! There is NO WAY a semi-automatic rifle will fire 50 rounds on one pull of the trigger, I doubt if ANY one of these MORONS owns a gun or has even touched one. I suggest before you open your STUPID IGNORANT MOUTHS again about firearms, get some knowage & training, Front Sight Firearms Training Institute in NV would be a good place to start

After listening to this podcast for a year, I've found that the production value (volume of speakers vs. volume of music, the sound of one of the hosts continually typing while he is supposed to be having a conversation) has not improved. But what bothers me the most? The annoying snobbery of the hosts. They hate virtually every movie they see and rarely give value to entertainment qualities. I love movies of all type--animation, horror, action, love stories, rom coms, science fiction, foreign films and documentaries to name a few. But I can't see putting people down because they lean towards a certain genre. Until they can recognize that not everyone is so narrow, this podcast has zero value for me.

If you're a movie fan, this podcast is a must-listen. If you've ever asked or wanted to answer the question, "why should anyone care about the Oscars?" - the best-articulated answer to that question occurs about 22 minutes into the first episode of this podcast. Wells uses his platform(s) to champion great films, great performances, and enters the arena ready to throw down with the best of 'em. I'm new to Sasha's point of view, she does fabulously well in the pilot discussion - anyone who can keep up w/ Wells gets a gold star in my book, and she not only provides solid counterpoints, but even wins a point or two here and there. Can't wait to see how this dialogue evolves.

Jeffrey Wells is an acerbic, challenging, insightful, and unique voice and a true film fan (even if he didn't head-over-heels love Never Let Me Go, everyone is entitled to a few missteps!). I'm excited to see him leap into the world of podcasts. The first episode is very interesting and well worth a listen. Sasha Stone is in top form, too. If you're interested in the Oscar race, or just film in general, this is a must.

I've been a Jeff Wells reader since the early days at Mr. Showbiz, and I never thought he and Sasha Stone would have such chemistry. Great first episode, and I love the leisurely pace. I only wish I could join in the conversation!!!
