They push eschatology to the side thinking it doesn't matter that much. I want to change that. Eschatology really has the power to change how we live our lives, and I think postmillennialism gives Christians hope and boldness unlike any other belief. What is required of us in evangelism? We only need to speak the gospel. It is God who saves the sinner, we must only supply the message. Some people think that if they don't do a good job in evangelism they might not be able to save the person they are talking with. That mindset comes from a misunderstanding of what our job is and who actually saves. The sinner in their natural condition will always reject the gospel unless God first works in them and births them new. Evangelism is the task for every Christian and non of us should shirk our duty! Sometimes evangelism is seen as a burden that we need to check off of our lists, but it is not a burden it is our glorious purpose and task. Can a Christian be Pro-Choice? I am not willing to say that they can't. I don't think we ought to be pro-choice; I think we ought to be pro-life. But I am not going to say that if you are pro-choice, you aren't a Christian, because I don't see the ammunition in the Bible allowing me to do so. I do not think a Christian can be pro-abortion though! The killing of children inside or outside the womb is always bad, and the Bible condemns the person who calls evil good. I do not think you can be Christian and be pro-abortion. I used to hold the opinion that we should completely withdraw from politics. I do not hold that opinion anymore, and it is because of this idea. All political ideas, statements, and stances are simultaneously theological ones as well. We are creatures created by God in a world that He created. Everything that we do, everything that happens, is theological because God is involved. Our politics matter. Now I still don't know how to engage with politics in a good way, but I know that my theology in some sense determines my politics, or at least it ought to.
