Prior to his writing career, he was an extras casting director, working on TRUE BLOOD, LA LA LAND, FAST & FURIOUS 7, MAGIC MIKE, TRUE DETECTIVE, and many others. He is currently Head of Production for Emmy Award-winning film production company Breakwater Studios, Ltd.

This week, writer and on-air personality, Sam Maggs, visits OCD podcast to talk about her writing career, her nerd background, and what she is currently working on! Sam Maggs is a bestselling author of books, comics, and video games. She’s been a senior games writer, including work on Marvel’s Spider-Man; the author of many YA and middle-grade books like The Unstoppable Wasp, Con Quest!, Tell No Tales, and The Fangirl’s Guide to the Galaxy; and a comics writer for beloved titles like Marvel Action: Captain Marvel, My Little Pony, and Transformers.
