In the darkest of times, a new story to bring back the light; a new story to remind us of our place at the center of Life.

Tonight’s fire explores stories; the power of story to empower or silence, to inspire or subordinate. Tonight we talk about the two lineages of stories; the ones that serve the dominant culture’s prioritization of profit and the ones that serve the vast and beautiful expression that is this Earth and all its beings. Tonight we introduce one of the oldest living stories from our female heritage; a story that reminds us that as women, we are endowed with the power to lay down the foundation of another world cycle.

Tonight’s fire explores wildness – reminding us that wildness exists at the root of all things. This fire stokes the embers of our wild female but also introduces the dangerous nature of the rewilded female; the one who returns herself to her wild nature by no longer participating in those things designed to domesticate and subordinate her.

Continuing on our journey of remembering and reclamation, Chaper 2: The Fates & Our Female Destiny, reminds us that in our essential nature, free of the stories that silence and sequester us, we are tribal and joyful, fierce and unrelenting. We are conduits for, and warriors-in-service-to, the ever-unfolding, vast and beautiful expression of Life that is this Earth and all its beings. In Episode 2 we are called to feel the instinct to protect what is most dear to us, as if all Life depended upon it. Because it most assuredly does.

The introduction to OneWoman Radio and Season 1, this deep imagery journey and invitation to recognize the sleeping state of our forgetting takes us into the landscape of our unique and universal wisdom as women, and the rightful inheritance and necessary responsibility that comes with it.
