Why is real change so hard? We know who we want to become, but willpower alone never seems to be enough. The world promises transformation through self-improvement, but Scripture points us to something entirely different. In Galatians 5, Paul reveals that the Christian life isn’t about producing better behavior. It’s about the Holy Spirit producing His fruit within us as we learn to walk in step with Him. Real change isn’t found in trying harder, but in trusting the Spirit to do what we never could on our own. What would your life look like if you stopped striving to change yourself and started walking with Him?You can join our OneLife Sunday morning gatherings via livestream at 9am and 11am CST every Sunday morning. Every Christian is in a fight. Galatians 5 exposes the conflict taking place within every believer: the flesh pulls us toward self-rule, while the Spirit leads us into the life and freedom of Christ. The battle is real, but so is the victory God provides. Verse 16 says, “Walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.” It’s only through the Holy Spirit that we are empowered to fight the war of sin in our lives. Victory isn’t found in our own strength and competencies, but in deeper dependence on the One who loved us, gave Himself for us, and now lives in us by His Spirit. You can join our OneLife Sunday morning gatherings via livestream at 9am and 11am CST every Sunday morning. Everyone wants freedom, but what does true freedom actually look like? Is it getting whatever you want? Living without limits? Galatians 5 reveals that the freedom Christ offers is far greater than the world’s definition. Jesus didn’t simply set us free from something. He set us free for something. Free from the endless cycle of performance and the power of sin, we are invited into a life that is secure in His grace and marked by love. What if true freedom isn’t found in living for yourself, but in becoming who Christ has set you free to be?You can join our OneLife Sunday morning gatherings via livestream at 9am and 11am CST every Sunday morning. What does it really mean to be free? In Galatians 4:21–5:1, Paul communicates a powerful contrast between a life of striving to earn God's approval and the freedom that comes through trusting in Christ. Through the story of Hagar and Sarah, we see two paths presented to every human being - a path of self reliance and slavery, and a path of trusting God's promise and freedom. The gospel of Jesus invites us to lay down our self-reliance, embrace God's grace, and experience the joy and security of living as His beloved children. You can join our OneLife Sunday morning gatherings via livestream at 9am and 11am CST every Sunday morning. What does true gospel ministry actually look like? In Galatians 4:8–20, Paul moves from theology to tears. His goal isn’t applause, popularity, or performance—it is that Christ would be formed in people. True gospel ministry calls us out of slavery and into intimacy with God, invites us to become relatable examples of Christ, and requires the courage to open our hearts to others even when it costs us.You can join our OneLife Sunday morning gatherings via livestream at 9am and 11am CST every Sunday morning. What comes to mind when you think about how God feels toward you? For many people, it’s disappointment, distance, or the feeling that they have to prove themselves. But Galatians 4 reveals a radically different picture. Through Christ, God doesn’t simply forgive sinners. He adopts them. The Father pursued you, not because you earned His love, but because He wanted you. Jesus came to bring us out of slavery to sin and into the security, intimacy, and joy of being sons and daughters of God. What if the Christian life is about far more than being forgiven? What if it’s about knowing the Father who has wanted you all along? You can join our OneLife Sunday morning gatherings via livestream at 9am and 11am CST every Sunday morning. Fatherhood can leave us with deep gratitude, deep wounds, or both. But beneath every experience with an earthly father is a greater question: What is God the Father really like? In Luke 15, Jesus tells a story that overturns many of our assumptions about God. Rather than a distant Father waiting for us to prove ourselves, we find a Father who pursues the lost, runs toward prodigals, restores identity, and welcomes sinners home through grace. The gospel is not the story of people earning their way back to God. It is the story of a good Father moving toward His children.

If works of the law don’t save us, what’s the point of the law? Is it an enemy of faith in Christ? In Galatians 3:19-29, Paul shows that the law isn’t to be discarded but rightly understood because its purpose, its limits, and its trajectory, all point us to Christ. The law can’t save us. But it can point us to the one who can.You can join our OneLife Sunday morning gatherings via livestream at 9am and 11am CST every Sunday morning. Is your salvation built on performance or promise? Most of us know we’re saved by grace, yet many of us still live as though God’s acceptance must be earned. Paul takes the Galatians back to Abraham to remind them that God’s promises have never depended on human effort. The law reveals our need, but only Christ can rescue us from it. Jesus, the only truly blessed and righteous One, became a curse on our behalf so that sinful people under the curse of the law could receive the blessing of God and be welcomed into His family. When we truly grasp that salvation rests on Christ’s work alone, it frees us to stop striving and simply receive what God has already promised. You can join our OneLife Sunday morning gatherings via livestream at 9am and 11am CST every Sunday morning.
