I am offering this very short and spontaneous podcast as the first day of 2022 comes to a close for me.

The Sedlec Ossuary, also known as the Church of Bones is one of the most unusual chapels you will ever see. I had the great fortune of spending a full day there when I was in Europe on a professional speaking and dharma teaching tour.

Just a quick update on my Christmas Day with family 2021.

When I was about 10 years riding the big yellow school bus to school with all my friends, we would see this middle-age woman bicycle commuting to work.

2021... What a year it has been. Certainly some of the most crazy times in the past 100 years some would say. This year has really been pushing society, economies, countries, and individuals to the edge.

The olives are all pressed and jarred. Now we are just waiting for them to rest in the olive oil filled jars before we start to eat them. We have 82 jars total split in 16, 8, and 4 ounce jars of three different flavors.

To experience large amounts of pain on a consistent and long term basis has been quite the life experience and lesson.

In my home growing up we watched a lot of Television and we cooked a lot of food. The TV was Sci-Fi, mostly Star Trek and later Star Wars at the theaters. The food were these traditional family recipes from my father's Italian side. There was home made bread, butchering live cattle for homemade sausage, pressed eggplant, and of course pressed olives.
