There is not a high expectation that the Giants will run the number ones out vs the Jets, but there are some interesting cases to be made for players that can cement their role. Adam has turned the corner on Darius Slayton, reminding Andy that the Sunday production for this young receiver should hold more weight than preseason accolades. In the linebacking room, Carter Coughlin has everything in front of him with injuries to the defensive unit. Likewise the secondary seems poised for a shake up and a young player like Darren Evans has Adam optimistic. The New York Giants simply can't catch a break. Colin Johnson does down with a season ending injury and the guys jump in to debate who should fill that void. The guys are in talking NY Giants football! Another preseason game and another win, but another injury(or two) for Big Blue. While Kayvon Thibodeaux may be walking off the chop block to his knee, the outlook on Darian Beavers is far worse.
