She also detailed key efficacy outcomes reported for luspatercept-aamt (Reblozyl) in the INDEPENCENCE study, along with outlining some of the factors that contributed to the study narrowly missing statistical significance for its primary end point of red blood cell transfusion independence for at least 12 consecutive weeks during the first 24 weeks of treatment.
