Show notes
Let’s continue our conversation on PrEP Therapy for HIV. We’ll be taking a deeper look at asking a provider for PrEP; who do you ask, what you should ask, and where should you go? Listen in and find out! We also have our friend, Dr. Gabriella Maris, back with us to teach us a bit more about LGBTQ+. We'll be going a bit more practical; from the challenges faced as far as insurance, to what we as health care providers should be paying extra attention for in our screening.
Dr. Gabriella Maris is a family medicine physician from Columbia, South Carolina. She attended Medical University of South Carolina College of Medicine for medical school and the University of Pennsylvania for residency. Dr. Maris is heavily engaged in treating patients in the LGBTQ+ community and plays an active role in creating opportunities for education among other clinicians.
