The first humans decided to follow their own path, desiring to be equal with God and disregarding the LORD's one command. By doing this, they separated themselves from God through their sin and were expelled from the special place that God had created for them. The perfect fellowship with God was severed. But God was not surprised by this and Immediately revealed a path to redemption, to undo the effects of sin, through the seed of the woman.

Overview of the Old Testament Lesson 03

With this overview, we hope to deepen our understanding of the content of the Bible and show how God worked out his gospel plan from the beginning of creation through the life of Israel, climaxing in the life, death, and resurrection of Christ and how he continued to work out His Gospel in the church.
