This week's episode we recorded on National coming out day and discussed our journeys while coming out. We included our audio engineer, Brittney Richardson (she/her) at the beginning of our conversation since she is also queer! Stick around for the end of the episode where we showcase some of our favorite TV shows that are back this season!

What is Oi am Queer? We are an interabled, genderqueer couple sharing our perspectives on sensitive issues such as accessibility, ableism, and the gender binary. Through conversation, we will aim to provide a space for other individuals to share their lived experiences to help start a more inter-sectional dialogue within the two communities.

This week's episode is us briefly talking about Lex's experience with being told they are not disabled enough by folks who are disabled themselves or folks that are not disabled. Ignorant statements can come from all walks of life but its how we navigate them that really matters even when our own government tries to binary our disabilities, what do we do? We turn to infomercials.
