Oh, you like Dak?!

Average Jos Media
As a cowboys fan, I'm tired of people accepting mediocrity and putting a label on it as if it is the second coming of the NFL Savior. It's season 6 for Dak on the Cowboys, and we have 2 playoff appearances, 1 playoff win, and mediocre performances in the worst division in football.I hope Dak wins the MVP this year, and I hope the Cowboys go off and make a deep playoff run. But, why are we so excited about a guys who has taken 5 years to have a breakout year (I mean through the 1st 6 games)? Let's give credit where it is due, pump the brakes on Dak's "elite-ness" and lets shoot for year-after-year playoff appearances, division championships, playoff wins, etc...
Define "ELITE"
The arguments are not, "Is he playing well right now?" The argument is "Dak Prescott is NOT elilte!" What's the criteria for being elite? I say the QBs career must consistently be high-level and team success throughout the career must reflect QBs production. Others think, today he played well, so he is elite-today. Things that make you say "Hmmmmmmmm....."

Subjectivity of a Great Win
Objectively, the cowboys dominated the Falcons. Subjectively, Dak's stats do not indicate he had a massive impact on the win. The win was a team win, defense, O-Line, RBs, WRs, DST and everything in-between. His straight stat line looks like an amazing game, but when you deep dive, the throws he made and the production by the specialty players made him look much better than he is.

Objectively Speaking
Learn to listen, understand exaggeration and try to remain objective when talking about Dak Prescott. Objectively, he is average. Pump the breaks, he's gonna give you average production on an elite salary. This is only part of the reason Jerry needs to pass the torch.

He's just not Dak Good
After 8 weeks and a 6-1 record, you'd think Dak and the Cowboys would be rolling. Pump the breaks, the Broncos have something to say about that.#dak#notdakgood
