Queer Money
Most finance shows are all about how to be a happy straight white family. This podcast talks about money in a way that feels relevant to my life. It’s great.

Helpful and thorough
I really appreciate this show, which breaks things down in a very friendly way. I do find the production hit-or-miss, sometimes in ways that prevent my listening to the episode. While this is annoying, I appreciate the show very much.

More Depth Than Your Average Financial Podcast
I like how Lily takes one topic and goes into more depth on the question than a typical financial podcast. Take the episode about seeking housing with poor credit. She went through numerous scenarios, explained they whys behind housing and a credit score and gave an extensive list of alternatives that can help people find housing.

so much less overwhelm
This podcast has helped me stop feeling so overwhelmed! I might not fully understand my finances yet, but I don't feel like it's too scary to even look at. The cheerful tone of this show helps me stay grounded when I'm uncertain.

Nice entry-level financial snippets
This is a cleanly produced show targeted to those getting their personal finances established. (Look elsewhere for backstory Roth conversions and RSU strategies!) Episodes regularly link to good valuable resources.

I recommend this to everyone
This podcast is perfect. It’s honestly my favorite across genres, plus the only Personal Finance show i’ve ever been able to find that *actually* has advice applying to a wide variety of people on the financial spectrum- Lillian breaks things down for poor/working class people, and everyone else, expertly, in a easily digestible way that’s never condescending. I am really grateful for OMD’s existence, it has taught me so much, and I tell anyone I know who is interested in getting their financial life under control to start here. My only complaint is that there’s not infinite episodes!!

Learning about money is fun?
Lillian makes learning about money and how to manage it in real life, fun. Practical tips abound. And her approach makes an otherwise dry subject enjoyable. Definitely on my pod rotation.

Condescending
There are other podcasts out there they explain things without being condescending and talking to adults like they are children.

Not Just for Millenials
Host Lillian Karabaic teaches personal finance classes for Millenials, but the advice she offers on this weekly podcast will help people in any age group. In interviews and special features, Lillian focuses on the basics everybody needs to know. And she brings a sense of fun and humor to these episodes not found in most shows (or conversations) about money.

Lillian provides actionable advice in podcasts that are succinct and generally less than 30 minutes. Sensible and Non-Condescending Personal Finance Advice
Loved the first two episodes and looking forward to the next one. The host had great rapport with the first caller and gave sensible advice on budgeting on a freelancer income, paying off credit cards and other debt and planning for future expenses.
