Jazmine always hosts the best conversations. I love that her episodes are wide-ranging enough to be interesting, but always centered on relatable themes like self-care, authenticity, and growth. A welcome alternative to the hustle/grind/girlboss cliches that have become so common in the entrepreneur/career/self space.

I’ve read Jazmine’s articles on TFD for years and loved her writing and perspective. Started listening to this podcast after she was featured on The Financial Confessions. This podcast is full of great interviews and equally great solo episodes full of down to earth actionable advice and great conversations. It’s like listening to your best friend telling you that you deserve better in podcast form.

I came here from Josie’s channel (Not the Good Girl) to hear your interview with her and stayed for your interview skills. You ask great questions, are respectful and yield in conversation to avoid talking at the same time, and you have really meaningful conversations with well-developed topics or messages. So glad I found this!

Jazmine’s approach to analyzing office culture is refreshing and honest. She provides questions and perspectives that allow listeners and guests alike to feel comfortable in sharing their work experiences with others. Jazmine is a magnetic personality! She's genuinely interested—which makes her one of those rare people who are great at both asking good questions (I appreciate that she gives her guests the space to respond) and giving thoughtful and interesting answers of her own. Her generosity and sense of humor really come through in her interviews, but DO NOT miss the "solo cup" episodes! She brings refreshing honesty to her commentary, and she gives relevant and useful advice (whether you're a milennial or not)! And Jazmine is goofy and unfiltered in the best way. With the current climate of our culture and society, it’s tough not to feel helpless no matter who you are. It’s great knowing there are other women experiencing and thinking some of the same things as me and hearing how they navigate those situations...not only in the workplace, but also in life, love and relationships. Even though we’re only one episode in, it’s already been so helpful and I’m looking forward to the episodes (and guests) to come. Just knowing that I’m not alone when enduring the craziness of being a black woman in America. PRICELESS!!!
