The boys are back - Taylor joins us for episode 13!

After a long break, we are back in the studio for episode 11! We start off the podcast by sippin' on a pour of Elijah Craig Private Barrel (Barrel Proof). This is a special one and our favorite episode to date! Taylor Belinger joins the podcast as we recap the '1st Annual Guffy Memorial Trout Trip' in honor of our dear friend Matt McGuffee who passed away in December 2022. Plenty of laughs, some tearjerker moments, bourbon (as usual), and big trout - what more could you ask for? Hope y'all enjoy!

The show kicks off with discussing Thanksgiving traditions followed by a quick review of Russel's Reserve 10 year, a bourbon produced by Wild Turkey (fitting for Thanksgiving!). We then go into a long discussion about Chris' recent adventures of slow pitch jigging and bump trolling for sailfish from his skiff, solo on some occasions! To finish out the episode, we talk about the upcoming trout trip to North Carolina with our good friend Taylor Belinger.

The 6th episode is in the books! The show kicks off with a review of Green River Wheated Bourbon along with the history of the famous distillery. Then we jump into a new segment called Cigar Corner where Chris shares his knowledge of cigars and offers a few tips for beginners. Moving along, we discuss how Chris was recognized by Captain's for Clean Water in their Supporter Spotlight, and he goes into detail about his trip to Tallahassee and how the bill process works. The shows wraps up with discussions around football, specifically how the rest of the college football season might shake out.

Hunter and Chris start off Episode 5 by talking about their bourbon choice of the night which is Manifest Whiskey Project (4th Release) coming from Manifest Distillery in Jacksonville, FL. This unique bottle is a tasty blend of a high-rye bourbon & wheated rye whiskey. Props to Manifest for being very transparent with the information printed on their bottles! Moving along, the guys talk about how they both grew up watching Atlanta Braves baseball and how this year's team will fair for the rest of the season. The next topic is the FedEx Cup where Viktor Hovland closed out the season with an impressive win. With the Ryder Cup just around the corner, the potential captain's picks are discussed. Lastly, the show is closed out by a preview of the upcoming football season, both NFL and college ball.
