Good work!
I really enjoy the podcast. The only drawback is the baby talk (impor “ant”), that I suppose may disappear as the trend changes. Definitely more tolerable than the vocal fry.

I love this show!
Love the hosts and each episode! One of my favorite podcasts!
Blainerunner!
Disrespectful
Only listened to the first episode, seems like they barely know the details. why are you qualified to talk about this? The part where the 3 year old reported seeing the victim, their comments are just not cool. Feels like everything wrong with "True crime"

Not great
The stories are alright, but the hosts do all this blah, blah, blah before they actually get to the story. I don’t care about their personal lives but apparently they think I should.

Friends Share
These girls are friends for life who are sharing their friendship with the world while bringing awareness to cases of missing and lost people from around the globe. They include valuable discussions about the effects these cases have on the community beyond their families and how we can take action in our own lives to recognize when a similar tragedy may be on the horizon. This isn’t a podcast by experts, it’s a podcast by fellow relatable humans.

Great stories, but can be victim blaming
I really like the subject and stories shared. I think the storytelling and quality are great for a small-scale podcast. My one critique is that the hosts come across as victim blaming at times, especially in the survival tales. I feel like they are quick to cast blame onto mistakes and this really detracts from my enjoyment in listening. Especially since these are true stories, I wish they were more compassionate and less critical. For example, they could use it as an opportunity to educate listeners on survival tips rather than blame the survivors for their choices.

Somewhat enjoyable
Some of the stories are interesting but the banter between the hosts gets old and I often lose interest. Please pre-read stories from Reddit. It was really hard to listen to.

Enjoyed listening to them but they tend to laugh a lot and mock and joke about the people and situations they are in. Like what’s funny about someone dying ??? They’re just two losers with nothing intelligent to say so they just laugh and mock. It’s giving mean girls !!!!!!!

Great Reporting and Awesome Hosts!
I originally found this podcast through Locations Unknown and love it! The hosts are great and really take care in sharing the stories they cover. I look forward to new episodes!

I enjoy it! But…
I enjoy this podcast! But I will say Megan commonly comments things that are just repeating what Danielle says as if it’s a brand new idea. At one point there were a full 90 seconds of them both saying the same thing back and forth and I struggle with it.

Sound quality
The podcast’s sound quality, especially for Danielle, is below average. But the stories are interesting and there’s not too much off topic conversation.

Fun to listen to and good variety of cases
This is one of my favorite podcasts - well done, respectful of the people involved, and informational.

Mt. Rainier
Hi!! I live in Puyallup WA. We’re about 45min to an hour from Mt. Rainier. She’s beautiful! We go up multiple times a year for hiking, sledding and to pick out our Christmas Tree! It’s a beautiful mountain! We’re not scared to live here, we’re aware of the danger and we know the more dangerous places to live so we chose a house in a less dangerous area. Love the new episode!

Great Hosts
The storytelling is concise, entertaining and well researched enough to keep my attention. Enjoy the hosts’ humor and wonderful personalities. The show length is good, not too short and not too long.

Conservatives welcome.. or at least not hated on!
It is so difficult to find a true crime show where the hosts don’t go off the trail, so to speak, and end up bashing conservatives or anyone with religious convictions. I really appreciate the humor, factual nature, and laid back style of this podcast. I love their actual voices, their points of view, and their practical advice in many of the episodes. As a homeschooling mama in the Appalachian mountains, who frequently hikes with many children, I take all of their tips to heart and appreciate the extra-ness in terms of safety. As a conservative woman, I appreciate being able to listen and learn without being preached at. We get our preaching at church, thank ya very much. 😘 Love y’all, mean it!! Keep up the good work!

Could be good
I tried again to listen.. tried hard. But you guys are mean. Please don’t ever cover my case and all the human mistakes I’d make if I went missing.

Love !
Thanks to Locations Unknown Podcast , I found you. Just a little suggestion… I had to turn the speed up to 1.25 on Apple podcast. Moves the story along much faster. Could be just me . Still love the podcast!

Fake Reviews
Lol at the review bombing this week. This podcast rocks and there must be some salty little cry babies out there who feel like their toes are being stepped on because of it.

A couple things here first I don’t think these gals have ever been on a mountain before. And note that I said mountain not as they pronounce it mount-in, a common thing for millennials these days, but annoying for the listener. The second thing is, the podcast is just not interesting. I thought it would be more about crimes while hiking, but it’s dead. It’s just a list of interesting peaks and how many hours it takes. Who gives an F

Victim Blaming all the way
Every episode is saturated with victim blaming with the hosts hyper focusing and over criticizing on a single mistake, some mistakes are those nearly all experiences outdoors people make. The hosts also put in a good amount of time talking about how they absolutely under any circumstances never make a mistake in he wilderness. They also don’t take the time to even look up basic info they should know for doing this type of podcast. For example, in one episode they can’t fathom how a hunter gets a carcass through wilderness and another they can’t understand how someone can die of heat stroke in dry heat. These are so easy to look up a quick ai response would have been correct and easily accessible. In short, this podcast needs someone with basic research skills at least.

Intriguing cases, and genuine friendship make this a great listen for mystery enthusiasts.

Refreshing
I recently came across this fun podcast that focuses on outdoor misadventures. I have to say, I am absolutely hooked! This podcast is a breath of fresh air, blending adventure and lite humor, while still being serious and respectful about the case they’re discussing.

Another left wing couple of women.
Apparently they think that the National Park Service actively supporting the homosexual community doesn’t affect the general Population. Obviously complete absurdity. As if we want our children exposed to this perversion. No problem normalizing of it for the coming generations. Of course it affects us. Then shortly after one of them actually said she understands how a large American flag could offend some. Unreal.

Interesting
Cool subject matter. The hosts are respectful of the stories and people in them. I enjoy the mix of story telling and their banter. Great podcast.

Interesting and fun
I like the hosts’ dynamic (doesn’t seem affected/fake), and their case choices are solid. I like the commentary/speculation too (the show doesn’t sound like a report). Would love more disappearance cases.

Love how they make you think!
I don’t often listen to cases that go unsolved, but I love the way these gals hook you into the mystery and make you come up with your own theories. And with the cases they present that have a conclusion, they always make you ponder or question some of the events along the way. They make you feel like you’re part of the story! Great podcast!

A Cool New Take on a Favorite Podcast Genre
Danielle and Maegan bring us into the depths of nature with digestible, well-edited stories of peril, survival and disaster. I am so impressed (8 episodes uploaded as I write this review) with how professional these ladies already are. I cannot wait to hear more! There are limitless stories of the woods and the earth making a seemingly normal day someone's last... Keep it up, ladies!
