I heard about this podcast from All The Things. I love Monique and Kevin. They make me laugh and give me a new perspective. I just listened to the interview with Toni McFadden and at the end I teared up from the statistics that Kevin shared. God forgive our hard hearts and have mercy on us.

The scripture is black and white crystal clear. Women can not be Pastors. They can educate children’s church, or Women’s ministry, or home Bible Study, but does not require title of Pastor. And Definitely not lead Pastor. The only people that fight it, IS WOMEN. It a NO from THE LORD. He said NO, maybe for these times, knowing how out of order our Society has become. If your a Woman getting triggered and upset, you need to immediately fall under the Headship of your Pastor and Husband, and work out the resentment in the heart with the Holy Spirit. It’s not lesser VALUE to God or the Church, it’s following the Design pleasing to God.

I wish you guys dropped episodes more than twice a month. Just finished listening to your lecrae episode and, yes Monique, many of us non-black brothers and sisters are very interested to hear what you and Kevin have to say…ESPECIALLY because you’re black! As Kevin said, “what’s wrong with that?” I say NOTHING is wrong with it. Scripture and its meaning don’t change based on your skin color, to be sure, but you may have unique insights that the rest of us would value, to help us faithfully navigate the cultural mess we are in in a loving and still biblically uncompromising manner. Don’t worry…we still hold your words up against scripture no matter the color! And so far…y’all haven’t missed. Love you both so much.

God bless the work y'all are doing to try and repel those attacks. Keep up the excellent work –it will not be in vain.

As a white gal, I would love wisdom on whether this would be a good podcast to share with my black friends; if so, what I need to be careful of/how to present it so as not to cause offense. I am so thrilled that I found this podcast. I am a white, female, Christian psychology professor. Issues of race come up regularly in my life, and I often feel that I can’t ask questions or challenge ideas because I do not understand what it is like to be black. You are tackling hard topics through a Christian worldview, which is what I also filter everything through. Thank you for giving the history that helps explain social happenings, and being bold enough to challenge ideas that conflict with scripture. I we’ll be encouraging lots of people to listen and learn! I’m sure you take a lot of heat. I will be praying for your wisdom and boldness.

Love how this show is real, bold, and speaks truth. The host are relatable, funny, and personable. Sometimes I hear the show and feel like we just talking in someone’s living room. Topics covered are great and deal with current culture. As someone who is not black but who has identified with the black community I have learned so much and have gained insight and perspective on a lots of issues that I thought I knew about. Continue to be bold, speak truth, and be real. Love you guys.

I have enjoyed every single episode of this podcast so far. I am really learning a lot. I appreciate both Monique and Kevin’s boldness and clarity when it comes to approaching issues in the black community from a Biblical framework. As a young black man serving in student ministry, this podcast is helping me a lot think through issues through a Biblical worldview and I also appreciate the ministry of the Center of Biblical Unity as well because it is helpful to me in many ways as well. Kevin and Monique really break things down to get to the root of the topics in which they discuss. These are hard discussions that aren’t normally had, and I commend Kevin, Monique, and the guest’s they sometimes have on, for having the courage to have these discussions. These discussions are so fruitful, and I highly recommend listening to this podcast.

Totally enjoying the upfront conversations Monique and Kevin share each week. I’m glad for their boldness to speak the truth in love to a world who so desperately needs to hear their message.

I feel so blessed and honoured to be listening in on your conversations. Such boldness, vulnerability, honesty, humour, and grace. When I moved to AZ from BC, Canada, I felt that because of my skin colour I was going to be hated by people of colour. If I am more than just a white woman from Canada - because that doesn’t even describe me at all - then I’m positive that everyone else in the word is more than the colour of their skin too. This is helping me to understand what is going on in the USA and put it into a Christian biblical worldview. God bless you both.

Thank you for the honest conversations and the boldness to look at everything through a BIBLICAL lens. I am white but work with a lot of “social justice warriors” in communities that are predominantly black. I’ve always differed from my colleagues and the CFBU podcasts have only helped solidify my desire to speak the truth to all of Gods people.
