#1 Reason You're Feeling Sick When Running
There are many reasons why your gut may be acting up during a race, but the number one reason could be because of a imbalance of osmolarity or osmolality. There is a delicate balancing act constantly going on between your gut and blood stream to make sure there is enough fluid, concentrate, and the right pH. While we are out during a race, this balancing act becomes a bit more complicated as we are doing our best to replace carbs and electrolytes lost to keep up with energy demands. Give this episode a listen to learn more, and feel free to check out my website to learn more about me and my services that can help you up your nutrition game. https://www.nutritionrundown.com

Glycogen & Carb Loading | Benefits & Risks
Carb loading can help you perform well on race day. Topping off your glycogen gives you available glucose to supply energy to your muscles and brain for an extended period of time. Don't overdo it though! You don't need to eat so much that you feel sick the night before and the day of your race. It's not worth the risk to go this extreme. In this episode I go over how to implement a safer approach while still getting the benefits. Check out my site for more educational content @ www.nutritionrundown.com
