Excellent information
I find Dr Greger’s informative podcasts to be so helpful in my journey into WFPB living. He presents with a dry wit and often makes me laugh with his plays on words. These podcasts have spurred me on to a much healthier way of eating and living. Thank you for your work, Dr G.

Amazing Resource
Dr. Greger and his team extensively peruse scientific literature on nutrition. I rely heavily on his podcasts and his organization’s site, and have been following his sound and trustworthy advice for years. His knowledge of nutrition is unsurpassed. I could go on, but my oatmeal, topped with blueberries and sprinkled with cocoa powder, is ready.

Do the opposite
A sick weak guy pushing propaganda that made him that way - and doing a poor job of it. He stammers all over each of his points. He looks sick and sounds sick. And he’s hurting our country.

Edit, edit, edit!
Good lord, dude, dial it down and edit your stammering out. The banana-in-smoothies episode was insufferable. We get it—you’re excited—but it’s over the top to the point of sounding condescending.

The best! One suggestion….
I have just started listening to your audio book, “how not to age”, what a great book, your voice is clear and understandable! I am also a long time listener of this podcast. I have listened to many podcasts on nutrition and health, this is the best I’ve heard. Based on research, factual, no product incentive like many others do, no commercials…. Like you said, you do this out of love and public service! Simply THE best and THE most outstanding podcast on nutrition and health!!! However, some times, it’s hard to understand you on the podcast. I suggest you speak a little slowly, just like you did in your audio book. There are so much content in your podcast, slower pace gives us time for our brain to digest. Also restrain yourself from dramatic/artistic twist on your voice, I know it’s hard, as you are so talented with words, but be conservative with your voice, pause between sentences, and summarize at the end of the podcast, so more people can understand you. Also by adding a brief summary in the show notes would help! Remember, all TV anchors speak very conservatively with clear understandable voice and tone, there must be a reason. Again, Thank you for good work! I am big fan of yours! ❤️❤️

Who’d have thought
I have learned so much about nutrition and health that was scientifically proven, yet Big Ag has suppressed. Now, I have a plant-based lifestyle and use low cost skin treatment.

Great info/Annoying delivery
Greger is a hero for those of us who believe in a plant-based diet. In the podcast, he’s reading a script which in and of itself is ok, but the way he over modulates his voice (maybe he’s trying to make it sound like he isn’t reading a script) makes listening impossible, at least for me. But he has so many other ways of following him, I’ll just skip the podcasts and go to the other sources.

Best Nutrition Information
By far the most accurate, comprehensive, and approachable information available on nutrition. Without facts, it’s easy to make choices that are not in one’s best interest. Nutrition Facts provides the truthful information needed for one to make decisions that literally lead to a healthier, happier, and longer life. It changed mine and I am grateful.

Favorite Podcast!

Transparent
I found Dr. Greger by chance after I had bought one of Dr. Gundry’s books and discovered that he had within his first chapter printed miss information. I lost trust in Dr. Gundry‘s writings, going to the actual source, he cited, and discovering that he was not being truthful about his statements. I watched a nutritional documentary hosted by several nutrition experts, who put down some of Dr. Gundry’s claims, and suggested several excellent researchers, in particular, Dr. Greger. Since then I have learned the importance of checking your citations for accurate truthful statements. Dr. Gregor does nothing but that! He gives you transparent information, showing the the strengths and weaknesses of research done by different companies, what they are after, what they discovered, and put it into language, we can understand. I value his discoveries above any other nutrition expert I have found. I go to the source and you will find that Dr. Greger is being honest.

Excellent Podcast
I invite everyone to listen to this super informative podcast and also read Dr. Gregor’s book, How Not to Die. He does this work for free and all proceeds from his book sales go to charity.

Great info
As a RD (and human trying to navigate our food culture) I appreciate this podcast. I appreciate the amount of time he puts into the research, and how he breaks it down in a practical way. I recommend to almost all of my patients!

Raises the Standards for Podcasts
I think I've listened to every one of these podcasts. I am proud to live during a time when such quality scholarship can be directed towards the public good. I wish I had millions of dollars to donate to this nonprofit. I can't even imagine how the researches at nutritionfacts.org plow through and make sense of the number of papers they showcase on this podcast.

Unconflicted and Evidence based
Only thing better than Dr. Gregor’s podcast is his non-profit website.
Update please
Dr. Greger! excellent podcast!
When it comes to nutrition, if you are unsure what or who to trust, then start with "Nutrition Facts with Dr. Greger". He comes armed with science and research studies and facts. I've listened for two or three years and I've learned a lot.

Great information In a short Amy of time
Love the scientific information provided in an understandable manner and in a short amount of time. It makes it easy to get the podcast into my day.
A Very Boring Game Reviewer😠
What facts?
There’s really nothing factual that comes out of this man’s mouth. I can’t imagine anyone seeing him as an example of good health and his ideas are downright dangerous and will eventually lead you to poor health and disease. I believe he means well and I like his energy but he’s so caught up in his own beliefs and locked in because it pays his bills that he can’t and/or won’t allow himself to see the truth until it’s too late and this is not only devastating for his listeners but it’s also devastating for the planet as well.

Best health related podcast of all
Great evidence-based data that is current and very pertinent

Fear mongering
If you have hypochondriac tendencies, stay away from this one. Episodes detail everyday mortal dangers, and for many people, it’s just too darn late - we’ve already been wearing lipstick all our lives, for example, so apparently we’re full of toxic lead. Listen in moderation and don’t get caught up in the existential dread.

Hard to understand
I enjoy the information and find it useful but he is hard to understand sometimes. He mumbles and slurs words and i find myself having to rewind to try and figure out what he said.

A total quack
Don’t listen to this guy. Unless you want to be a bald weakling like him. Biased pseudoscience.

Health and nutrition truth backed by real science
This podcast is for smart people who don’t have time to find and read all the scientific medical studies about nutrition and disease avoidance. But it is also great if you do want to read the studies and do a deep dive into a topic, like fats and oils and which ones are the worst. Because of the sea of misinformation we swim in, you might be surprised to learn that coconut oil is probably the worst, right up there with bacon fat. If you want to live a long, healthy life and feel great doing so, this is the podcast for you. If you want a healthy diet that helps you avoid disease, don’t miss an episode.

The king of nutrition
Dr. Greger simply does nutrition education best. His informative yet silly commentary on the most current diet studies keeps me laughing and learning with every new episode. Thank you for all you do, Doc!

Great information - insulting to fat people at times
I really enjoyed listening to this podcast for the way the information is presented and discussed. I have been disappointed a few times about the way fat people are discussed - specifically in one of the intermittent fasting episodes. The way the scientific community discusses fat people as if they are something on display to criticize and insult is very disheartening. I get that Dr. Gregor is presenting the research but the terms we use and our motivations are a bit shady. I feel like there should be a way to present findings in research without condemning an entire group of people who have probably heard that they are wrong in some way for their entire lives. Also, I thought the BMI had been recognized as an inefficient way to classify bodies.

Love. Dr. Greger. Life
He’s the best. How can you not love the guy?

Funny, informative, useful
Dr. Greger is a hoot with his puns and dad jokes! He presents the latest research in nutrition science in an accessible way and often includes useful nuggets about how it can be applied to our daily lives. We are so fortunate that he does this as a public good, steering us away from the seductive lure of pseudoscience and towards the light of truth with scientific evidence and good humor.

Umm… unmaa… ummm…
Delivery is so difficult to overcome. Great info often times, but would like some addressing of key things that go totally ignored like resistance training for longevity, macro goals for thriving, etc. as opposed to the animal-anything-will-make-you-die approach. Some of us athletes would like a bit wider field of vision than just eliminating foods and doing a bit of mild cardio. Great stuff though.

Put this podcast “to the test”!
Dr. Greger lives the ethic of love by helping people (like me) understand complex topics of nutrition and general health. I greatly appreciate the short format, the lack of ads, and Dr. Greger’s stated motivation of helping people in honor of his grandmother.

Veganism as a cure for every ill? IBD shame?
I have listened to this podcast for years and have appreciated his research-based approach. However, there is a theme that became a little too overbearing - plant-based diet and elimination of animal protein and fat as a cure for pretty much anything. I usually eat a plant-based diet and have for years. I believe that it is best for our general health. Yet, the podcast has begun to sound like one of those silly ads “try this one crazy trick! Doctors will hate you.” I still listened (sporadically) until the IBD episode. It was the same old suggestion of plant-based diet. He cited VERY small studies (20 people) and said this diet caused 100% remission from the disease. As a person who has IBD and knows others with it (Crohn’s and UC), I promise it’s more complicated than this. And the claim that the diet is better than any medication or treatment available is simply not true! Also, the line in the podcast “if you have IBD, you probably don’t want to admit it” is rude and demeaning to people who already deal with the shame of the disease. A doctor should not add to this feeling of shame. Anyway, I am no longer interested and would not recommend.

Cherry Picked Studies
It’s important to understand the nuance of scientific research and explain the full picture. Mike likes to cherry pick studies that support what he believes without divulging the evidence based research that doesn’t align with his narrative.

Dr. Gregor is the best source of health information online

Rapid speech with fluctuating volume.
Absolutely the best health information available! But unless you are wearing earbuds in a quiet room and paying 100% attention to every single word, Dr. Gregor is hard to understand. Rapid speech and volume fluctuations diminish the quality of expression. The echo rich environment with poor quality microphone add to the problem. Please invest in a studio mic and some drapes to absorb the echo. Or use a headset. Never a built-in mic. Never a phone or laptop in speaker-phone mode.

Love the information
Dr. Gregor love the information you provide. But sometimes your voice is going up and down as if you’re talking to a child and it’s really hard to follow along. Is it possible to just keep your voice on an even keel so I don’t miss any critical information . Thank you
