Rotation/Twisting is a foundational movement of the torso.  Many injuries could be avoided by efficiently incorporating rotation into our daily practices.  While twisting to the right and breathing through the right side nostril we are able to focus on the right lung and vice versa.  Encouraging the lungs to inflate during rotation serves to offer the deepest level of core support to this movement pattern.  By using breath to encourage a natural and efficient twisting pattern we serve to simultaneously strengthen both our torso and lungs.
